Who I Am
I'm Zakariya Zouazou, a Senior Full-Stack Developer from Morocco. I start with the business need, then design and ship the system that solves it, from the database and the backend services to the interface people use every day. My focus today is AI integration and automation.
Recently I designed the backend of a 3D product configuration platform as a set of microservices with NestJS and Docker: a configurator that drives a 3D product through forms with thousands of choices, a pricing engine, a data source service connected to internal and external databases, a media service, and a company-wide single sign-on with permissions per application and per action.
Before that, I led the development of a multi-marketplace e-commerce platform that synchronizes Shopify with Amazon, eBay, Rakuten, Cdiscount and Spartoo in real time and handles over 10,000 orders per month, with an AI pricing module that raised margins by 15%. I write about the problems I solve along the way on my blog.

Senior Full-Stack Developer
Designed and built the backend of a 3D product configuration platform as microservices with NestJS and Docker, and contributed to the frontend with Next.js.
- Configurator driving a 3D product: forms with thousands of choices, impacted variables, data sources, dependencies and conditions, owners and permissions.
- Pricing engine for configurations, based on mathematical logic built after extensive research.
- Centralized single sign-on (SSO) linked to Odoo: one login for every employee app, permissions per application and per action.
- Data source, folder and media services reused across the company's applications (BullMQ, Redis, Socket.IO, PostgreSQL).

Landing pages and multi-step lead forms for advertising campaigns.
- 6+ landing pages built with AI-assisted design, then customized by hand.

Lead Developer
Designed and built a multi-marketplace e-commerce sync platform (Next.js, NestJS): Shopify products published to Amazon, eBay, Rakuten, Cdiscount and Spartoo, with orders, stock and prices synchronized both ways in real time.
- Over 10,000 orders per month and a catalog of several thousand products with variants.
- AI price-monitoring module (Claude) that raised margins by 15% on key product lines.
- API latency reduced by 40% with Redis caching, workers and streaming.

Led a team of 6 (sprint planning, task assignment, code reviews) and built platforms used by about 1,000 users per month.
